One Project at a Time: Crowdsourcing Success

Our Katahdin, launched in December 2014, has raised over $90,000 to support local leaders in implementing “small win” community development projects in the Katahdin region. The organization provides a platform for local leaders to create plans, raise funds, and mobilize volunteers without dictating the agenda. The focus on small wins aims to build optimism and ownership of local successes. The positive response has led to increased leadership, project ideas, and fundraising in the local community.
