Help Preserve our Region's History
Project Leader: Alyssa Dickinson, Medway Middle School
The town of Medway has never before had a historical society. Thirty eighth grade students, along with six community mentors are working diligently to change that. This group formed Medway Historical Society in September 2016 with a goal of creating a functioning museum showcasing Medway’s remarkable history. We are already receiving donated historical artifacts!
To properly track donated items and create an inventory, the Medway Historical Society would like to purchase PastPerfect 5.0 inventory software and include the MultiMedia Upgrade option. This is museum software for the creation of an artifact inventory.
The software will allow the historical society to digitally track and catalog all artifacts received by the society. A digital inventory will help preserve the donation information, provenance, or any other information regarding museum artifacts. PastPerfect will greatly aid the society in the quest to create a functioning museum celebrating Medway’s history.
- Past Perfect 5.0 Software -- $870
- MultiMedia upgrade -- $385
- Project total request -- $1,255
Please donate to help celebrate the rich history of Medway and support the creation of the first Medway Historical Society!
