Festival Tents Project
Help make the Katahdin region festive this summer!
Project leader: Katahdin Area Chamber of Commerce
This fundraiser is to purchase four white festival tents, including the appropriate storage containers. The tents will be stored at the Katahdin Area Chamber of Commerce, and will replace the ones they are currently lending, which are in bad shape.
The tents will be a great benefit for all Katahdin region events, such as 4th of July, Summerfest, Trails End Festival and future endeavors.
These high-quality polyethylene tents are 10’ x 20’, and 9’ 6” high. Please note that the tents will come with ‘sides’ that can be added in the event of a windy or rainy day (one or both sides can be added). Wooden storage boxes for the poles and footings will be made by local craftsman, Larry MacArthur. Plastic storage containers will be purchased to store the canopies and cords.
