This is a great idea.

I have toyed with the idea of having a relay race bicycling from the beginning of the Staceyville Rd to Millinocket steam then canoeing with the bike loaded into the canoe to the Dolby RR crossing & bicycling again to the Rice farm for a festival.

I had supper with a former assistant to George Mitchel to express my idea, & my reasoning behind it. She thinks it is well worth looking into. She has great political influence in Maine. So it looks like I have our first ally with some weight behind them.
