Ktaadn Arts Gallery Project

Artists’ Co-op and Gallery Space in the works

gallery_sm.pngA local group of artists and artisans from throughout the state of Maine, with a special concentration in the Katahdin Region are forming an artists collective gallery in East Millinocket. These dedicated artists want to create a new space in East Millinocket to display and sell locally made artwork. The new gallery will create opportunities for local artists and artisans to control how their work is displayed and sold. Artists will be able to be part of the collective model and the board of governing members. The gallery and cooperative will allow for numerous members and have room to grow. The Gallery is only the beginning. These artists plan for host art workshops, classes, events, open houses, exhibitions and after school art programs.
