Holiday Lamp Post Decorations
Project Leader: Lynn Beaulier
Lynn and Nancy knitted the 4th of July decorations that covered the lamp posts to add a festive mood to Penobscot Avenue for the holiday. They are at it again! The two will knit and crochet post strips to cover the lamp posts on Penobscot Avenue for the holiday season. The covers will be red, green, and white and have extra festive pieces like mistletoe. They’re going to bring Christmas cheer to all 27 lamp posts on Penobscot Avenue.
Project Budget: $250
60 skeins of yarn to cover 27 lamp posts at $5.99 = $360
The ladies of Moose Drop In have already collected $107 in donations to help cover the cost of yarn. Lynn and Nancy are contributing yarn from their own stashes and their time.
